Inspirational Words of Encouragement from the Bible

It would be a wise idea to always familiarize ourselves with the words in the Bible because they might come in handy at times. Inspirational words of encouragement from the Bible can

be very helpful in uplifting a person’s spirit when they are going through tough times. . In this article I will take you through some inspirational quotes from the Holy Book that can be very encouraging for anyone

When trials come, it is often the case that we feel that God is not there or He no longer cares, when in actual fact He does. Well, in this article I will try and show what I mean by that.   Jeremiah 29:11-13 says, ‘For I know the thoughts I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace not evil, to give you a future and hope. Then you will call to me and go and pray to me and I will listen to you. And you will seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart’.

God Cares

The above mentioned verse clearly shows that God cares and has plans for all of us which are not bad. You as a person need only to communicate to Him through prayer and try to find Him with all your might. The Bible in the book of Proverbs 3:5-6 states that you should ‘trust in the Lord and not lean on your own understanding and acknowledge Him and He will make your ways straight’. For other people’s views on this verse you can visit  Acts 20:24 Ministries which have a number of inspirational words of encouragement from the Bible.

Trials And Temptations

When you take into consideration the book of  James 1:2-4, you will realize that trials and temptations are only meant to make you stronger as a person, to be mature and complete, not lacking anything. These trials and temptations are only to test your faith and if you persevere in them you will be made complete. We can call them a blessing in disguise. Even gold goes through a furnace to come out shining and all lovely to the eye.

Jesus was also tempted by the Devil in the wilderness, before completing His mission on earth. So before you can accomplish greater things you need to be prepared first so as to able to conquer any situation.

Hebrews 11:1, describes faith as ‘being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see’. Faith can be said to be the passport to blessings.  Encouragingbiblequotes.com has many examples of why it such a necessity to place your faith in God. From this site you find illustrations of faith and its benefits. A lot people’s lives were changed because they placed their faith in God.

The best thing to do during trials and temptations is to talk to God through prayer, the only way to communicate with God. There are many suggested ways to do this in the Holy Book. Psalms 25:16-18 suggest one way and so is Psalms 6:1-7. We can never take for granted the Lord’s Prayer which the Son of God said we should emulate (Matthew 6:9-13).

It might happen that you might pray with no results, but that does not mean that God does hear your prayers. Jesus in Matthew 7:7-11 says that you should never give up, until you get what you want (ask and it shall be given). Other inspirational words of encouragement from the Bible can be found from Isaiah 40:28-31.
